This incredible Museum was kind enough to allow us to film Vi Cowden here so that the documentary will include her beside some of the planes that she flew during WW II.The museum prides itself on the fact that all of their airplanes are in flying condition.

This group does an outstanding job of keeping our Aviation history alive and flying. And TWICE now they have given Vi a flight in the P-51, the last time, she took off and landed the plane, as well as piloting it at its top speed of 495 mph!! Becoming the oldest person to
Pilot a P-51D Mustang!


This is an great air museum with many of the planes of WW II and local Veterans willing to share their personal stories of the Air War over Europe and in the Pacific.
